The Exciting Opportunity

We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our innovative team at Limitless DMC. This role is based in our Edinburgh office and offers the chance to become a key player in our organisation.

The Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be the face of Limitless DMC to the client on the execution side. As part of our team, you will be managing a range of exciting events and projects whilst building and maintaining relationships with a variety of clients to understand their brand and requirements, building creative proposals which excite all stakeholders involved, briefing internal teams and external suppliers, and managing project timelines and budgets. The role holder will also work closely with management to drive continuous improvement within the organisation. Possessing exceptional attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward thinking, progressive team who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and delivering quality itineraries throughout Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Project Manager who has a proven track history of managing similar events to join a company with a fantastic culture and team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage event projects with customers across single or multiple events.
  • Assist with specification meetings with clients and prioritising lists of requirements for future project development.
  • Drive the development, release, maintenance, and enhancement of projects.
  • Work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Prioritise and maintain projects.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of performance in order to assess profitability of a project.
  • Help facilitate frequent team and individual communication in order to ensure collective knowledge to all members of the team
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all staff and clients.
  • Provide regular feedback to the directors on projects and on issues affecting business performance
  • Provide advice and consultation to clients based on industry best practices
  • Provide/direct best-in-class technical service based on project timelines
  • Work with the team to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Work with external clients, sales and internal project teams to identify, assess, and document client requirements
  • Plan onsite engagements
  • Work with third party suppliers to quote, order and manage event specific materials
  • Provide exemplary customer service

Required Experience:

  • Considerable experience in Project Management in Meeting and Events essential.
  • Working knowledge of project planning, analysis, design and implementation.
  • Basic understanding of technology systems and web applications.
  • Ability to work within a team to achieve goals.
  • Highly organised, detail conscious, and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Experience with CRM software and project management tools.
  • Excellent communications skills

The candidate:

  • Ability to influence at all levels with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
  • The successful candidate should be self-motivated, prepared to use their own initiative and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong planning and organising skills to manage short, medium and long-term activities and deliverables.
  • Ability to understand the importance of good work ethic.
