Limitless DMC Directors Take-on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to Raise Funds for ForRefugees

At Limitless DMC, our passion for delivering extraordinary experiences across Scotland and England is matched only by our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the world. This September, our directors, Angela Inglis, Geoff Crow, and Pamela Badham, are taking on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk, a challenging 20-mile trek, to raise vital funds for a cause close to their hearts: ForRefugees.

Founded by Angela’s childhood friend, Amber Bauer, ForRefugees is a charity dedicated to providing crucial support to refugees across Europe. Angela, who has been a supporter of the charity since its inception, is inspired by Amber’s relentless dedication to helping those who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution.

Angela Inglis, Director at Limitless DMC, said: “Amber is one of the most passionate and selfless people I know. I’ve seen firsthand how every penny goes directly to those who need it most, without any bureaucracy or overheads.”

Angela’s connection to ForRefugees is personal. Last September, she joined Amber on a trip to Greece, where she witnessed the dire circumstances of the refugees in camps on the islands of Chios and Samos. The experience was an eye-opener, highlighting the stark contrast between the everyday challenges faced by refugees and the relative safety and comfort most of us take for granted.

During their time in Greece, Angela and Amber worked with local grassroots organisations supported by ForRefugees, such as ‘Biryani and Bananas’, which provides essential supplies to refugees. Despite the challenging conditions, the refugees’ resilience and gratitude left a lasting impression on Angela.

Angela continued: “It was humbling. We’re only separated by the lottery of birth—where we’re born is the only difference between us and them. They were so thankful for everyday items that we take for granted like a bag of rice or some coffee. It makes you realise how trivial our problems are in comparison.”

The Kiltwalk, which will take the team from Holyrood Park to the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, is not just a physical challenge for the Limitless DMC directors; it’s a way to raise awareness and funds for ForRefugees, ensuring that the charity can continue its life-changing work.

Geoff, known for his expertise in high-impact events, and Pamela, a strategic marketing guru, are equally committed to the cause, even if the idea of walking 20 miles is a bit daunting.

Pamela Badham, Director at Limitless DMC, said: “We’re all in this together. Angela’s passion and stories from her time supporting this excellent charity have moved us so much. The thought of the people we’re helping will keep us going.”

Limitless DMC’s dedication to giving back extends beyond this single event. The company has pledged to donate a share of the profits from every program they operate to one of their chosen charities, including ForRefugees. They also plan to offer their clients the opportunity to match these donations, further amplifying the impact of their work.

As the team prepares for the Kiltwalk, they invite everyone to support their fundraising efforts. Though the specific fundraising platform is still being finalised, the charity will benefit from a platform that matches donations, doubling the impact of every contribution. Angela, Geoff, and Pamela hope to raise significant funds to help ForRefugees continue providing essential services to those in desperate need.

This Kiltwalk is more than just a physical challenge—it’s a commitment to making the world a better place for those who need it most. Join us in supporting ForRefugees and help us make a difference in the lives of those who are striving to rebuild their lives against all odds.
